altbier fest
november 14–15 at the halfway crooks biergarten
the beer keeps coming until you tell it to stop. this is the system. we love the system.
in düsseldorf, people discovered that a beer can arrive without being asked for. we have learned this too. all weekend, altbier is served the traditional way: one beer, one tally. your coaster keeps count. when you’re done, put it on top of your glass.
saturday, november 14: live music
free show, all ages
5:30pm: the hearsay (atlanta power pop)
7:30pm: at the drive thru (early 00s emo and pop punk party band)
sunday, november 15: altbier 5k
a race through summerhill. 10:30am start. rehydration follows in the biergarten beneath the elms.
$40 includes a finisher glass and a t-shirt. proceeds benefit the urban clinic.
